Only full admin or staff included in a conference will have access to this icon and subsequently be able to view the conferences. Your pre-enrols are loaded into the pre-enrol section of your Student Management System's database (KAMAR/ Musac/ Wonde/ Synergetic etc). You need to move these to the MAIN database of the student management system in order for these to sync through to SchoolPoint and/ or SchoolBridge. The start date will need to be for the following year. It takes around 15 minutes for them to sync through to SchoolPoint from the main database. With our SchoolPoint Course Selection tools, you can set rules around your learning areas and courses. This allows students to be required to perhaps take a certain number of courses within a particular learning area, or be required to have to be doing a certain course/ courses before picking a certain course for the following year. There will be many times where as an Admin, or possibly HoD if you have permissions, that you will need to remove courses, and likewise add or change courses around. You can add an image to an individual course, and include a video slideshow that can contain photos, graphics, narration, sound if you wish to include. You can create a slideshow presentation that includes these elements using a presentation program like PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, Google Slides etc. to create a video that you upload to YouTube. Once you have your slideshow viewable on YouTube, copy and paste the YouTube into the video field of your course.Few readersAdding Course Costs and Contributions to Courses
There is a field under each course to allow for the input of course costs and contributions/ uniform required or stationary, which you have the option of filling out. This field name is customisable. Troubleshooting- Staff can't Log In/ No account found
A Staff Member Can’t Login: Staff members should now be using their Google or Microsoft accounts to log in to SchoolPoint/ Bridge- depending on what their school uses. If staff login fails, contact your key contact/ admin person in the first instance Failing that - you will need to check the overall KAMAR sync within SchoolPoint, to check if it is up to date. If your staff have changed their original codes in KAMAR for whatever reason, they may now have trouble logging into SchoolPoint or SchoolBridge. This is because all the information and data such as timetable info, is attached to the code in KAMAR. Just by changing the staff's code in KAMAR it will not change the code in SchoolPoint or SchoolBridge when a sync is run. KAMAR Sync Settings & Troubleshooting
If your existing SchoolPoint service is reporting an error or red exclamation mark, FIRST thing to do is click the "Check and Enable" button in KAMAR (see below screenshot). This SHOULD fix the issue in most cases. KAMAR Sync Warning in SchoolPoint Go back into SchoolPoint and refresh your Home Screen and the warning should have resolved. Once your staff members log in, if they have the correct permissions they can search a student and view a summary of student details including the courses they have chosen, and results etc. There is no need to log in as the student to view these details, or add/remove the courses. In SchoolPoint there is a module for being able to vote online. It was initially created for staff to be able to vote on topics such as Head Students. You can enable this module under Settings Modules enable Voting. This module is included in your existing suite of SchoolPoint Tools.
